Poetry Unseen. Vol. I
OUT 12th November 2026!! Pre-order your copy here.
A collection of poetry by various authors that all have aphantasia!
“Imagine a horse” is a simple test to discover whether you are a visual thinker or aphantasic. 96% of people can vividly see an image of a horse in their mind’s eye. People with aphantasia are conceptualisers. For them, the horse is a group of facts or ideas that make up what they know a horse to be. Their mind’s eye is blind, but it doesn’t mean they lack imaginations.
Poetry Unseen is a world first, an anthology that celebrates this neurodivergence. It shines a light on the uniquely skeletal, playful, thematic and diverse writing styles of aphantasic poets so that others can suspend their visual imagery.
